2009 Top Selling Video Games
Despite the recent recession has put a control on the spending habits of many, the games industry has had to console losses suffered comparatively less when compared with other industries. The large number of console gamers should be allotted for this. Although a large number Video game companies sold a large number of games, only a few have had incredible success in selling video games in the year 2009.
In the 2009 list of top selling video games, Wii has nine straight games on the list for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 has eight have only one game in the list of the top 20. NDS Games is also on the 2009 list of top selling video games with two games to make its presence felt in the list. In eighth place is the game of New Super Mario Bros created by Nintendo of America, which is followed by Mario Kart DS in ninth place that is also a creation of Nintendo of America and is an NDS game.
The Lord of the Rings does not seem to have lost its appeal to people, and that figures in tenth place. Lord of the Rings: Conquest is a game for Xbox 360 which is topped by Electronic Arts. PS3 gamers also have something that is coincident with that of other console games. The Call of Duty: World at War is also present for the PS3 gamers are also created by Activision Blizzard.
With these games present many console gamers that are present in the the 2009 list of top selling video games, quality games for console players is never in scarcity.
