After purchasing the product, I tried to apply it before I watched the DVD tutorial assistant. The results were not good.
After my initial failure, I saw the DVD and visited a sales counter for comprehensive, in-person tutorial a sales representative. She gave me a complete lesson on how to apply makeup, and it was well worth the time and effort. It looks great and was easier than I thought.
In short, it is easy to use if you just extract and open the box dive right in But if you take an hour to learn how to apply the product and try it a couple times, you get it. In the end, the implementation of each step of the Bare Minerals package takes between 5 and 10 minutes.
Actual product
When applied properly, Bare Essentials looks great. It is not cakey, nor to display exaggerated. The finish is smooth and seamless, and global coverage is great. Also, because it is a mineral, will not clog or suffocate your pores, meaning your skin will not suffer.
Most women want to go easy on the bronzer, since it is a bit overwhelming. Also, while the base and core teams are great, the makeup and lip powders could probably be omitted. Many find it difficult to use and not as effective or easier to control as other makeup products.
If you are looking for something light, but effective, then makeup is Bare Essentials a great way to go. Used properly, can make facial features look very attractive, avoiding much of the face of "fake" look that many products makeup produced. Although the cost is a little steep, many women end their benefits are worth a little more.
