How far away the player's statistics referred to in the Champions League of UEFA?
I think the player / team statistics during a match in the Uefa Champions League are great. For example, the distance traveled by each player during a match. Easily 7.8 miles! How measure it? Do players have a chip on which a computer keeps track of, or what? Also, how to measure the percentage of balls won / lost? Do dozens of people following the players in each match? How does all this?!? 
Equipment installed dozens of cameras in network video stages and then use a sophisticated video processing software to gather statistics about the players, such as distance traveled. For the system as the most Prozone is famous for (http://www.pzfootball.co.uk/), which uses video cameras to Sony. According to Sony's website (http://www.sonybiz.net/biz/view/ShowContent.action?site=biz_en_EU&contentId=1175002552921) This system is installed at the Emirates Stadium (Arsenal) and I suppose in most major Premier League stadiums.
